Terms & Conditions

Effective 3 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and, together with a signed engagement letter, the provision of services by Edu Accounting & Auditors (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2019/538389/07). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

We provide accounting, tax, bookkeeping, payroll, audit and assurance, CIPC and business compliance, business advisory, B-BBEE advisory and CIDB/CSD services. The specific scope, deliverables and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate engagement letter or proposal agreed with you before work begins.

2. Engagement & Fees

Formal client engagements are governed by a signed engagement letter, which takes precedence over these general terms in the event of any conflict. Fees are quoted or agreed in advance and are payable in accordance with the terms of that engagement letter, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete and timely information and documentation reasonably required for us to perform our services. We are not responsible for errors, omissions or delays arising from incomplete or inaccurate information supplied to us.

4. Professional Standards

Our services are performed in accordance with applicable South African professional, accounting and auditing standards, and the requirements of the relevant regulatory and professional bodies to which our practitioners belong.

5. Confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as required by law, regulation, professional standards, or with your consent, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with services rendered is limited to the terms agreed in the applicable engagement letter. We accept no liability for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us, or from decisions made independently of our advice.

7. Website Use & Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, graphics and logos, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without our written permission. This website is provided for general information purposes only and does not constitute professional advice; you should not act on it without obtaining specific advice tailored to your circumstances.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
